About the Role:

As a member of the IT Portfolio Team, the Software Education Specialist is responsible for the training lifecycle of Sound's clinical platforms to support the educational needs of our physicians, APPs, nurses, clinical support staff, and central services teams. Creating high-quality curriculum in partnership with product managers and stakeholders, this individual will ensure platform users receive exceptional instruction and support during onboarding and beyond. The Software Education Specialist is also a super user of Sound's clinical platforms used by Sound providers (including financial, scheduling, and clinical workflow platforms) across all service lines and provides training delivery expertise to the business owners of these platforms to best serve all users.

The Details: This opportunity is a remote, work from home role, with 50% travel, an estimated 20 trips per year.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Traveling to new program implementations and training end users (clinicians and support staff) on software workflows and ancillary functionalities via one-on-one coaching and/or classroom instruction
  • Establishing and maintaining the Software Education Library within Sound's LMS, ensuring all training content is current and refreshed with the changing needs of stakeholders
  • Owning the clinical training roadmap, aimed at providing ongoing delivery of new or upgraded materials for learners across Sound
  • Documenting all training sessions and maintain a structured feedback log of all suggestions to training content and delivery; communicate any applicable changes in a spirit of continuous improvement
  • Communicating/escalating issues to Project Managers for prompt resolution in the spirit of shared ownership in the user experience of the platform
  • Preparing various reports such as Training Roster, Abandoned Trainings & User Feedback Score Trends and deliver to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Collaborating with clinical and business colleague learning and development leaders to ensure organizational consistency and to leverage resources across all lanes
  • Providing basic application support to end users during and post training sessions. In partnership with the Application Support Team, adhering to all guidelines, processes and SLAs when providing support
  • As requested, demonstrating our software to clients or new colleagues

Knowledge :
  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or equivalent/related field
