Title: Office Assistant/Data Entry (Spanish)
Location: San Bernardino CA 92415
Duration: 2 Months
ONSITE

Minimum Requirements include but are not limited to  :

• Knowledge of proper English and Spanish usage, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation in oral and written communication
• Ability to understand, interpret, and translate oral and written information in English and Spanish
• Fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively both orally and written
• Detail oriented
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with some direction
• Basic computer skills with advanced typing speed and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work long hours

Duties include but are not limited to  :

• Proof election materials for accuracy including; letter to letter comparison, formatting, and punctuation
• Verify that election selection codes accurately display the correct ballot
• Verify that all bitmaps and short names are displayed properly
• Verify that audio is recorded correctly
• Perform ballot tabulation logic testing to ensure ballot-counting machines are tallying correctly (internally & for the public) including, checking in, marking, and testing ballots through the counting machine, assisting in gathering results from the tally server, filling out related paperwork
• Type-setting and proofing all election material
• Update workflow database
• Maintain filing system for Voter Information Guide documents
• Communicate with internal and external customers

THERE WILL BE MANDATORY OVERTIME INCLUDING EARLY MORNINGS, LATE NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS.
