Job Description

Our client has built its business over the past 60 years and is establishing itself as the industry leader in residential landscape. We are looking for a Designer to collaborate with the Design Directors in preparing quality landscape designs, construction documents, estimates and proposals for presentation to clients. The position interacts with the design and sales staff on a regular basis. Our mission is to create and maintain unique, quality environments for the benefit of their clients and community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in a team environment to prepare creative, high-end design solutions.
• Communicate design input, challenge team members with constructive feedback, perform site survey, inventory, and analysis, and develop design solutions using AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-UP, Lumion, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, gain construction detail knowledge, and develop attention to detail skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years professional experience and interest in residential design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp OR Lumion.
• Knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, applicable construction materials and coordination in design.
