Position Summary: Enlisted Auctions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gallery Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to the success of our online auctions and moving services, involving tasks from organizing and displaying auction items to assisting customers and maintaining our gallery space. If you have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of market values, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely pack items into boxes for secure transport
• Assist in moving boxes and items from trailers into the auction gallery
• Unpack and sort items for auction setup
• Photograph items for online auctions
• Assist buyers during item pick-up from auctions
• Facilitate efficient workflow in the gallery auction space
• Monitor customers and answer questions during auction preview hours
• Clean gallery and office spaces as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Multi-tasking proficiency and ability to switch between tasks effortlessly
• General understanding of personal property and market values
• Strong interpersonal skills and credibility with diverse individuals
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Sound judgment for the benefit of the company and clients
• Willingness to engage in all aspects of technology
• Competence in basic computer skills
• Well-organized and able to complete tasks with urgency

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

• Experience and knowledge of market values of antiques, collectibles, furniture, tools, and household items

• Excellent people skills
• Punctual, dependable, and loyal to duties and responsibilities
• Maintains a professional appearance to present the best image of Enlisted Auctions to clients and customers

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, use a stepstool, and handle objects regularly
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Tolerance for high and low temperatures in the gallery
• Work in various building types including houses, basements, attics, outbuildings, shops, garages, and warehouses
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
• Occasional travel or overnight stays may be required
