Overview of the Bookkeeper Role:

• Verify customer data imports correctly from Excel sheet and filling in missing items
• Creating an invoice template and insuring formatting mirrors prior invoices
• Create an invoice for each customer once the template has been approved and save in memorized transactions
• Assisting with getting the accounts set up online for sales/use tax if needed
• Filing state sales tax documents in our online record
• Updating/creating a sales tax schedule based on filing frequency
• Keeping a check list on the status of each state's account.
• Map the billing items to sales tax codes in Avalara software (we use Avalara to determine the tax rate for the service items billed)

Qualifications:

• Strong QuickBooks Desktop experience
• Degree preferred
• AR experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidentiality
