*Automotive Title Clerk* This job description outlines the requirements and responsibilities for an Automotive Title Clerk in a multi-store enterprise. Here's a breakdown of what the role entails:

• Responsibilities:*
• Title Work Experience:* You need to have prior experience in title work, including processing titles for various types of transactions such as retail sales, dealer trades, wholesales, and more.
• Handling ELT for Trade Packs:* You will be responsible for pulling Electronic Lien Titles (ELT) for trade packs.
• System Entries:* Enter title numbers into the system for all titles received.
• Missing Title Report:* Manage and work on reports for missing titles.
• Deal Preparation:* Prepare deals for title work processing.
• Trade Pack Preparation:* Prepare trade packs when necessary.
• Processing Title Work:* Handle the processing of titles for various types of vehicle transactions.
• Posting Invoices and Payments:* Post Tag & Title invoices and ACH payments.
• Tag & Title Work Schedules:* Manage schedules for tag and title work.
• Refund Checks:* Cut checks for tag refunds.
• Duplicate Titles:* Apply for duplicate titles when needed.
• Inventory Management:* Manage inventory for metal and temporary tags, title & trade packs, and MSOs.
• Customer Registration:* Print customer registrations.
• Filing and Inventory:* File titles, trade packs, and maintain title inventory.
• Support:* Provide support for tag and title work to guests, management, and employees.
• Other Duties:* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Qualifications:*
• Education:* Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience:* At least 1 year of automotive title work experience is required. Experience with dealership accounting, UCS, and TitleTec/T21 is helpful.
• Technical Skills:* Competency with MS Office Suite is necessary.
• Notary Public:* Being a Notary Public is required.
• Attention to Deadlines:* You must understand deadlines and be able to work with a sense of urgency.
• Professionalism:* A professional appearance and work ethic are required.
• Driver's License:* You must have a current, valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
