Job Description
We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator with a prestigious Cedar Rapids organization. In this role, you will be handling a variety of administrative routines, dealing with sensitive data, and ensuring smooth operations within the department. This role is crucial to our team's efficiency and requires someone with a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the distribution of all incoming mail, claims, and faxes, ensuring they reach the appropriate department
• Conduct data entry tasks and input copies in the system, and enter all applicable information
• Generate pend letters and manage claims ready for manual routes
• Oversee the printing and updating of W-9 forms
• Conduct research and review client notices to ensure compliance is met
• Provide backup support for overflow incoming calls and directing them to the correct department
• Handle the returning of claims to providers
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the department
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative coordinator role or similar position
• Proficiency in computer data entry
• Familiarity with medical claims is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using office equipment, including printers and photocopiers
• Experience working within Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
